Hey guys, loving the new update. After playing for a couple hours a few QOL changes came to mind.
Make your complete cash show in the map, not just the 10k, make it show 10592. (The tactical map not the minimap)
Add in settings the option to disable camera rotation. This especially took a lot of getting used to and honestly makes me feel a little queasy to look at.
Extend the range of lasers, once you have a decently sized fleet its made pretty clear that lasers are hardly the length of the medium sized capital ships, meaning they have a difficult time defending a decently sized fleet without sacrificing an (in my opinion) overwhelming amount of DPS ships (MG/hybrid centaurs)
Reduce the timer for Scan to 30/60 seconds
Increase the timer for mines to 90 seconds
The reason for these two to swap timers being Scan is incredibly important for S&D while theoretically being fairly simple technology, whereas mines involve the creation and teleportation of a fairly powerful weapon to any point in the scene.
Increase the cost of replacement fighters, they're extremely valuable for killing Masterminds and their cost should reflect that value.
I'd really like a place to store ships other than my hanger, in space dock. I like to use Oremasters while grinding cash but they're really not useful for anything else. Rather than sacrifice their level I'd really love a way to put them in space dock storage and get them back later.
Change flares to also distract aliens from which ship they're targeting, not just turrets. If they're truly a distraction mechanism they should become the immediate priority of the alien ships they're deployed near to. I'd like to be able to use Flares to buy my fleet a little bit more time before reinforcements arrive in certain tactical scenarios.
Add the option in settings for dialogue to not turn down our time warp, it's quite tedious especially when mining/surviving
Add the ability to assign priorities to ships/turrets. I'd like to make sure my flak/laser turrets aren't firing on capital ships when we're being bombarded with fighters.
Add the ability to have preset formations for fleets. It's quite tedious having to set up my wings every single time I load into a game. Perhaps even make it an upgrade? The more times you upgrade the more wings you can save.
Give us some way to repair destroyed turrets on Centaurs, perhaps having them dock with our carrier and take from the carriers pool? In which case let us buy more turrets.
