Just some ideas for improving game play.
Adding on to the standard Armor upgrade the ships get in the first place from leveling up.
--Utility Class ships would Level up as they healed/mined and their healing/mining rate would increase.
--Gladiator Class ships would receive increased cloaking energy or time (depending on whats is decided)
--Centaur Class ships would receive various different turret upgrades as listed below
Plasma -> Increased firing rate(same for the plasma turret on the Nuke Centaur )
Laser -> Increased laser range and at final level each turret shoots 2 lasers (the 2 laser part might be kinda op )
Flack -> Increased flack AOE (Area of Effect) and chance of destroying incoming projectiles.
Minigun -> Increased effectiveness towards lifeforms
Missile -> Increased Turret turn rate for the Missile turret and a small AOE increase. The minigun turret would receive the same upgrades as the ship with 2 miniguns.
--The Mother Ship would receive the same turret upgrade as the Centaur Class ships (or maybe they would be reduced a bit like 80% of what the Centaur get [weakened option]).
--Second idea the Artillery attack damage could be increased by level.
--The Hydra receives one extra fighter each level (base of 8 and +1 every level)
--The Cerberus's turrets have increased health maybe by 10% every level
--The Aegaeon would receive no upgrades since it was just buffed
--The Nuke on the Nuke Centaur does not need to be buffed
--AI improvement. The Enemy Mother Ship attack in union and send in ships in a wave maybe with a tad delay with the strong ones attacking first then the weaker ships and Carriers would support. The Mother Ship can not be destroyed by the black hole. They would be able to spawn maybe 3 ships at once (not all battle cruisers of course)
--The Carriers that spawn those green blobs can spawn maybe 8 at a time instead of 6 and the green blobs can spawn 2 purple ones at once. better cannon fodder.
I think that these improvements would improve game play and increase difficulty and over all ass more action to the game.Yea i know this was a long post and congrats to those of you that finished the whole thing.
