I'm not sure if this has been discussed, but the levels are too huge. I'm not talking the main area where asteroids are, but all the empty space beyond is a bit much. Lets the masterminds run much too far. And therefore takes longer to get to

Yeah i agree with normancon. Just make sure theres nothing to kill your fighter or nuke them from a distance. Instant kill.

Yeah, it's true. Actually the maps are about as large as the known universe, but without the third dimension. Anyway, there's something I have never adequately explained before: Masterminds escape when shot at, choosing a random direction. Theoretically they may move pretty far away from you, IF you continue to shoot at them (for example with the artillery). Once you stop firing and they reach their target position, they will start coming back for your ships. A very simple workaround would be to make them stay close enough to player ships. How does that sound?

How about a button to stop firing artillery then?

Yep, what Normancon said is right. Maybe you are confusing strategic mode with the strategic view?

HM..... I think if they are limited, not to distance from ships, but distance to center of map. Because they travel faster than all but fighter. It could keep getting further if want to send a centaur after it

Maybe have astroids and minable resources stretching all over te map but less of then the further out you go.
