A completely new icon, with lots of details and in 3D.

One on right looks good. What ship is it?

Well, to be quiet honest, the ship on the icon does not resemble any of the current ships. Designing a 3D ship, such as this, is way beyond my capabilities. I simply acquired a license for a ship, which in my opinion fits the theme of Space Borders and looks great on an icon. I thought, better have a more professional looking icon, which is not 100% accurate, than having an accurate icon which looks amateurish (such as all my previous designs). Hope you can all forgive me for that.

It's a step in the forward direction. Definitely looks better than the stock icon. I like the 3D renderings for icons and graphics as long as they are done right and that new one is.
Good job!

Well I guess I am the odd one out. I actually like the old one better but the new one is cool just not my type of icon lol.

The problem with the old one is:
1 - If you don't know the game, you might actually be unable to guess what it's supposed to represent. My friend told me that it could actually be mistaken for a shower or something.
2 - The quality: Even if you know that this is a spaceship, it's just not very polished & convincing. An icon has to stand out to get noticed. At many places in iTunes, the only thing that is shown of your app, is the icon.

Oh yeah I keep forgetting to tell you...you misspelled "quite" a couple times in game (and several times here but that's ok).

The icon on the right looks cool, but the ships colour scheme is totally out of place. Is there any way you could recolour it?

Oh yeah also how about changing the planet in the logo to like a space station or warp gate?
Since in game planets are being evacuated, not ships are going to to them...

Oh yeah, sorry, I do that all the time. Really glad you made me aware of it. It is not so OK in the game. Sure, the ship can be recolored and the planet can be replaced by a wormhole or portal. Maybe I should prepare several options you can choose from.

I remember you misspelled "quite" in the dialogue at the beginning of Starport One, but I don't remember if you misspelled it anywhere else. Not much help
