Why not give it some standard turrets instead of lots of what i assume are a type of ion cannon. Can it launch fighters. Will it be available in campaign and if so how much will it cost

Put into campaign. Have it cost like 1.5 mil creds tho. That's twice as much as the aegeon

I think the price for the aegeon and the behemoth cost should be lowered, I get that it's an end game ship and what not but if it would take forever to earn all the money then people would not want to play any more.

No it can be lowered. It's be to cheap then. I bought my aegeon back when it was a million credits. Now it's 750k. That's 7 games of dsm. That's to easy in my opinion. I think the aegeon should be 1 mil again.

Mine was 1m too. The behemoth should be 2m if it was ever made available because of all its pulsed photon emitters. Slow moving energy weapon but heavy damage. It doesnt have anything to target small ships though.

I might add that due to a debate on the Facebook page, the turrets might be changed to "matter / anti-matter" cannon or even something completely different. Check out the post and make your suggestions there if you like.

Change the name to a super heated mass driver cannon.

I also came up with an idea for a nice capital ship and I'm drawing a picture of it as it's to hard to explain. But it's gonna be like an artillery piece which would be so helpful in some games especially since I play on the highest difficulty which is crazy hard

The turrets would have to be something different for the behemoth as matter doesn't make sense, and Anti matter when combined with matter makes explosions that would make a modern day nuke look like like a firecracker. That would be so overpowered, the ship couldn't be stopped. Besides you'd need some type of energy shield to house the anti matter and once fired, the anti matter would hit the dark matter (space) resulting in the explosion as soon as it left the barrel. A huge misconception about space is that it's nothing, but in reality, space is made up of dark matter.

Love the name super heated mass driver. I will take a look at you ship in a moment, this post however is just going to be a quick reply thing. Concerning the matter/antimatter weapon. I think it is quite possible actually, the destructiveness would very much depend on the individual masses. It could be fired in form of a missile, carrying both of them and uniting them on impact or when close to the target (very much like a "photon torpedo" in Star Trek). How the antimatter is stored within the missile is not all that important (force field, specialized magnet, whatever), since it is just a game not a physics tutorial. Note: If you have ever heard about PET scans (which are highly sophisticated scans to create 3D models of the human body), you might know that these scanners actually do use this technique. They introduce a CT contrast agent into the body, then fire positrons (anti-electrons) at the body. When the electrons from the contrast agent and the positrons collide they result in gamma radiation (yep, not very healthy), which can then be picked up by the scanner. So it really depends on the "dosage".

True, it doesn't matter how it's shielded in the game. Wasn't thinking of that :/ wow it's hard to think up a type of turret you want. Something that shoots slowly but does immense damage? Only plasma type weapons comes to mind. Does it have to be a slow moving projectile or can it be a slow shooting weapon? That would probably give you a bit more to work with.

or instead of the super heated mass driver have it be a MAC Gun (Magnetic Acceleration Cannon) sorta like the one installed on the UNSC ships from Halo. Its sorta like a Heavy Anti-Ship Railgun that can tear a small frigate in half in one shot and a super carrier in about 3-4 hits. it seems over powered now but the carriers that shoot the purple and yellow aliens are not that hard to destroy. the MAC rounds can be reloaded quickly but not as slow as the nuke centaur since the nuke centaur would do more damage per shot.

...I think I'm just gonna reserve judgement on whether the Behemoth will be OP or UP until I get to test it out for myself.
Although to contribute to the discussion I do have a few suggestions.
1. Nanobot Missiles. Like the opposite of healing beams.
Similar in function to Discord Missiles in Star Wars, except instead of a few droids a small swarm of nanobots does the damage.
Basically the projectile will contain the nanobots, and on impact/when in close proximity the missile will rupture, allowing the nanobots to attack the ship.
2. Railguns. Because you can't really go wrong with railguns.
3. Giant Plasma Cannons. No need to explain this I don't think.

Super heated mass driver. Kind of reminds me of the mass cannons from Halo and Mass Effect
