Yeah, some people spend all their hard earned cash on those IAPs. Also, I think it's ripoff in many cases. There is no way someone can provide me with a reasonable justification, why a single person should spend hundreds and in some cases thousands of dollars on an app. It's an addiction and unlike with drugs, people are not educated about its dangers sufficiently.

You could probably make it to that the IAP can only be bought once every 7 days or something. No other apps do which is why I think people get carried away easily. I only spend money on games I like anyway and this is one of them.

but i mean it was kind of a suggestion but conquest mode is also an IAP which i love
i also have more defense mission ideas for conquest mode.
How about:
Protect a base for a certain amount of time untill EDF reinforcements arrive and then you can leave (Given fleet)
Destroy a facility before the aliens launch a super weapon to destroy a base (Given or main fleet)
Escort An EDF officers ship back to an outpost so he can deliver plans for a new weapon or something (Main or given fleet)
Capture 3 strategic points and hold them for a certain amount of time before the aliens do (Main fleet)
Mine ______ amount of resources and then head back to a factory so everyone can evacuate (aliens get stronger as time goes by) (Main fleet & daedalus, and possible some extra ships)
Anyone like these ideas?

1. We already have this.
2. Could work...possibly a little too similar to normal offensive turns?
3. We already have a mission to escort the Hercules. What would be different about this one?

For 1 i mean there should be a time limit, hold for _____ minutes then a large EDF battle group could warp in along with a radar gladiator and yo ucan destroy all enemies

For 3 i mean a battle group escorts the hercules back, and its already guarded by a few ships. it does sound the same but i have another suggestion. Adding onto 3: once the Officer gets back (doesnt have to be a hercules by the way) itll take a few minutes for the plans to work, and the EDF can launch a weapon of some sort to drive the aliens out of the sector

The next step will probably be the introduction of Yann's awesome new ship designs. While I have nothing to do with the graphics part, it'll be quite a bit of work to reconfigure turret positions, the lighting effects and thruster effects of the various ships, since this is all done programmatically, so there won't be much time for new features left. Once the next update with Yann's textures is out, we can start to discuss new features, or perhaps some general improvements.

WHOA!! I can understand those things are maassive and guardians of the homeworld and im fine with tehir power and destructiveness but the speed!!! Its too fast!! can r=you reduce the speed please because i have NO chance of mining anything before the hyperdrive charges fully! its a little too excessive. but i LOVE The idea you came up with for guardians. also How am i supposed to kill those, you said 2.7 mill for every beast kill! is there gonna be a bunch of aegeons or behemoths somewhere soon if i build up my surround fleet sectors? also, Nice design! its your best one yet for the beasts

Ok I've tried everything, it's impossible!!!!! I can't take down those things! I have tried the run strategy but it never works the ship justs turns around and goes for my aegeon. Can u plz add the behemoth in the attack on the alien homeworld because I can't take em down and I'm trying to get the behemoth...

See, there's your problem. You're trying to save all your ships.
How to win:
Use Aegeon and Cerberuses as bait. Use them to lure the Beasts.
Now take all your other faster ships and run away.
When the Beasts have finished wrecking your slow ships, they will start coming after you. Let them come just close enough that you can get a missile volley in with the Crius, and use a nuke too. Once that's done, run away until the abilities recharge. Rinse and repeat.
It took me about 40 mins to destroy the Beasts with this strategy.
After they're dead, you get a bonus and are free to harvest.

I always sent my nuke centaur straigh through the middle. It would cause all 4 of the beasts to follow it and then I'd turn and fire at every opportunity, it takes about 20-30 minutes but it's the easiest way I've found.
