There is a bug which on certain devices, running a certain version of iOS can cause the game to look similar to what you see in this screenshot. A fix is already being prepared and should be submitted very soon. Note that it may take up to ten days for Apple to review the new update, so you'll have to be a little patient I'm afraid. Sorry for any inconvenience. Attachments:

Good to hear that the game works for you. - The "new ship" didn't make it into v2.2 I'm afraid. - Yep, the "Training Day" button now looks that way. - The "Space Dock" button was probably stuck, it happens occasionally, just give it a tap and it'll return to normal.

It seems that this bug has not been entirely fixed with the release of v2.2.1, which is very frustrating. Will try to fix this problem and yet again post a new update (v2.2.2).

It seems like iPads in general, are not affected by this at all.

Haha, yeah, but back then Apple would allow you to add launch screens to the iPhone, without the need to support portrait mode. It really doesn't make any sense to me, but that's how it is. In the next version I will remove the launch screen from iPhones and iPods.

Define removing launch screen
like removing the screen that says powered by sparrow framework??

should we just launch a version of the fixed screen now so that the ratings are stable?? or should we wait untill the models are done and finished by Yann

should we just launch a version of the fixed screen now so that the ratings are stable?? or should we wait untill the models are done and finished by Yann Nope, no new version now. Having too many updates in a very short period can be really annoying. Once a new version is released, the bad ratings will be shifted into "all versions" and will barely be noticeable. I'm sure the new features will make up for the current issues. Oh, with regards to launch screen, yes, it's that screen that says powered by the Sparrow Framework. It is the reason I've added Portrait mode as a supported device orientation, which unfortunately leads to that annoying bug. IMO it's really not worth the trouble any longer.
