In other words, it's there on purpose. I think it was maxed out at some point, but I'm not sure.

My artillery reset to 2 when i had 4. Cant screenshot cause i already bought them before i noticed lol.

But my ships are still there zi should have 6 Repair and 4 plasma and 1 missile as i remember but they are gone

Oh wow, that typo is really embarrassing.

Anyway, yes the turret system has changed, but you receive some compensation for the old ones.

Regarding sandbox, you need to conquer all sectors once and there should be a message telling you that you have completed CM. defeating the beasts is not enough.

well im only about 60 percent done... guess sandbox will have to wait for now. Also i LOVE the new character icons. they look more human like, and the detail is just amazing! WELP im on a quest to find the hidden ship and to complete CM.

Also can you at least say if the hidden ship is in campaign or CM please?

anyway ill keep an eye out for more bugs and whatnot.
