I've been thinking, couldn't we improve the way we organize feature requests further. What we would really need in my opinion is the following.
Use the feature requests portal but with a slightly different arrangement.
1 - Request name (very short but clear enough to understand). This would also be a link to the forum thread related to this request. You click on the request name, you land at the forum thread.
2 - Status (Request, In Progress, Completed, Cancelled) <- This would give everyone an overview of what's currently happening.
The username won't even be necessary, since it's directly related to the one who created the original thread. By default, when an entry is created, the value of the status would be "Request".
That way everyone can describe exactly what they mean, but at the same time we have a nice clean overview with only the most essential information. Finally, one can click on the link and directly respond and participate in a discussion.
What do you think?

That would be good, so in the portal the link would direct people to a page on this site? With more information.
