1 - Modes
1a - Builder Mode:
When in Builder Mode, you can place and remove objects from the map.
1b - Game Mode:
When in Game Mode, you can select units and order them around, just like in a regular mission.
1c - Switching Modes:
To toggle between the two modes, simply tap the button the either reads BUILDER or GAME.
2 - Using the Builder
So you are in builder more (the button at the top reads BUILDER).
2a - Attack Stance:
Before actually placing an object, first consider what the object is supposed to do. Should it search and attack the enemy, should it wait and defend its position, or should it do absolutely nothing? To setup this behavior toggle the button saying either SHIP, TURRETS ONLY, or NONE.
2b - The Anchor:
The anchor is a location on the map, that all placed objects will be facing. It can be changed by long-pressing any location on the map.
2c - Placing Objects:
First, select an object using the two arrow keys. If you're not sure about the names, you can always tap them to reveal more details about the object. After you have selected an object from the list, tap an >empty< location on the map and the object will be placed. The object will start with the attack mode you specified in section "2a" and will face the anchor from "2b".
2d - Removing Objects:
To remove an object, simply tap it once.
2e - Change Music and Background:
Tap the SCENERY button to toggle the music and background.
3 - Game Mode
Game Mode works like any other regular mission. There is only one exception, the attack stance button.
3a - Attack Stance:
When you select an EDF unit, the attack stance button will show the behavior of that unit. Tapping the button will change the behavior of the selected unit. When no unit is selected, tapping the button will change the behavior of ALL alien objects. This can come in handy when you want to place aliens using a hold fire stance initially, then switch to game mode and allow them to attack all at once.
