So one thing I believe you all know: Once that OreMaster (even with Centaurs guarding it) is suddenly approached by a big ship (e.g. a destroyer), it's often over for it. I think the limited radar range of smaller ships should be increased, to overcome this problem to some degree. At least that way, it will be able to run for its life.

you ARE right on that, because my ore masters get destroyed or heavily damaged in DSM! but i DO use a strategy, take out all ships then mine but that takes so long,
i was thinking either increase radar range a lot, or significantly increase ore master health.
But i do agree with you

I never have this problem because I arrange my entire fleet to escort my Oremaster (the enemy almost never gets close because of that) but I guess increasing radar range could work.
