Beta Testing Guidelines

Hello everybody,

first of all I'd like to thank you all for your great support, for reporting problems, making feature suggestion and mostly, for your patience! I will try to do all that is within my capabilities to make the game better, but it will take some time.

If you can't wait, then here is something you might like. I intend to release beta versions from time to time. Whoever is interested to get a hold of them, simply needs to follow this procedure:

Send me a PM containing your:

- device type (e.g. iPad2 Wifi, iPhone 4, etc.)
- the iOS version (e.g. iOS 4.3.3)
- the UUID, here is how to get it (it's really easy):

That's it!

How to install a beta:

1 - Open iTunes
2 - Select Library -> Applications (or: ... -> Apps)
3 - If there is an older version of Space Borders, right click and delete it (otherwise skip this step)
4 - Drag and drop both downloaded files into the Applications section
5 - Connect your device and sync it with iTunes

Do beta testers need to do anything else? I know some other betas use testflight and testers have to register there or something similar.

As you all know, the new version (2.1) and therefore "Conquest Mode" will soon be posted and so I would like to ask anyone who would be interested in beta testing, to send me the information (see beginning of this thread), preferably as a PM (unless of course you have done that already). Thanks!

In the credits there's a message about ship cloaks....what ship has a cloak?

The crius was originally going to have a cloak but the gladiators are goin to instead. Its going to be added after conquest mode i think

Well, right now all focus is on "Alien Encounter". Once CM is done we can focus on Beginnings & new features for "Alien Encounter".

You should put a link to see a trailer of CM gameplay on the app description to get ppl excited for the new feature.
