STARPORT ONE! If you are stuck in "Startport One" or "The Offensive", read this: Masterminds have fighters assigned to them as wingmen (at least in some of the missions, including Starport One). When you attack & destroy a Mastermind, its wingmen apparently may not know what to do and simply idle in space (still have to get to the bottom of this). Obviously searching and finding them is like searching for a needle in the haystack. How to avoid this: - Before attacking any Masterminds, make sure you have explored any nearby fighters (suggestion: use fully upgraded radar). - Make sure the Masterminds don't get away once you attack them. Use mines, artillery fire and the support fighter. Following is a list of all mastermind start coordinates UFO_TYPE X Y
--- START ---
CARRIER -10 10 FIGHTER 15 16 CARRIER 10 0 CARRIER 0 10
--- AFTER EVACUATION ---
DESTROYER -10 -10 FIGHTER 10 -10
--- AFTER PORTAL DESTRUCTION ---
CARRIER 0 10 CARRIER -13 0

Nothing, i'm every time stuck in starport one...killed all ships and masterminds calculating all possibilities and upped my radar skill at max to be shure, but nothing yet...
Ah, for lvl 1, leave the difficulty on normal, on second installation I understood that's needed only turrets skill to defend my ship and break the nord one!!

Hi riddick,
I'm really sorry about this problem. It's probably best if I submit a quick update to Apple that fixes it ASAP. Unfortunately I can give you no further advice on how to prevent this issue. I'll work harder to finish the next version and upload it. Hopefully you can forgive me.

I just scouted with my smaller ships around the map and found all of the Masterminds'. I want to say that there is like 6 of them I think. It took me a couple of tries to find them but I did. It is kind of hard to find them when everything moves slow but you just have to be patient.
You are doing a good job with this app, just a few more updates and everything should be golden! Also, I think that the speed of the Oremaster should be upped slightly... it gets out run by everything lol. The speed at which it harvests is fine but the moving speed is just a tad bit out-runnable. Now just to keep mining and save to get the Aegeon since the Mothership on the last level whooped my ass lol.

Also the rotate turret command is kind of sporadic as in the turret will only move a little bit and not make a full rotation?!

Thanks a lot for the motivation, it just made me feel a lot better after reading a rather depressing review. You are totally right, the OreMaster is pretty slow. I will increase its speed in the next version. To make scouting easier in the future, a probe which can be launched from the mothership for a small price, will be added. Good luck with bringing down the Mothership and completing the campaign.

Hmmm really?
It's normal that once a turret has reached the desired direction, it might start turning again to engage a nearby enemy. However, from what I understand, the problem is that the turret doesn't even reach the target direction. Does this occur with all ships/turrets, or only with some of them?

No when the ship is idle and lets say i want to bring it around to a general area before engaging, since the nuke turret and the missile turrets move slow, the rotate command only moves it like a fraction of the direction it starts rotating. I've tried it again today and its doing the same thing.

Ah, I think I understand. You rotate the whole ship but the turrets don't actually rotate with the ship, right?

No no. The ship stays stationary but when I try to rotate just the turrets, 9 out of 10 times they don't make the full rotation.

Ok, I see. That of course shouldn't be. Got a little question: After you tap the "rotate turrets" button, do you give the ship an attack command, or does the ship stay stationary throughout the process?
