I dragged and dropped it to itunes and synced it but i think its the same version because i wanted to check so rotated the motherships turrets in deep space mining and it didnt crash. maybe with future updates have a small bit on the home screen of the game that says what version it is. I have no idea how to put the beta on ipod if it didnt work.

The UI responsiveness is definitely better. Going to start playing through the levels again here in a bit.

That's great! Would you say it still has problems, or does it work like it should (i.e. does it always detect taps)?

Btw. you can buy the Matter/Antimatter Cerberus for $250K if you want to try it. Alternatively, play Evacuation, the Titan is now also equipped with the same kind of turrets.

As far as I can tell it detected all of them. I went through the credits, settings, all the garage pages and some of the campaign menus as well and it detected the tape first time around. I'll double check that when I'm actually in game on the iPad in a bit.

A couple of missions in and the docked ships are greyed out and cant be selected. Only one that can be selected is the ore miner.
Nevermind, starport One they become unlocked lol. Everything seems to be working well in game too.

Great, glad the UI responsiveness seems to be fixed then. As for the greyed out ships, that has changed on purpose. I believe there was no real fun in having super powerful ships in early missions, it removes any challenge. You may also have noticed that your capital ships do not spawn either, at least not in levels where you're not supposed to have any yet. I'm probably going to do the same with the mothership turrets. - In short: Ships and turrets will only be usable, starting from the levels they were available for purchase in the first place.

No you don't have to delete the version you have on your iPod. When your in iTunes, hit control 7 and it will bring up a few tabs of apps stuff. Go to my apps I believe it is and drag and drop both items you downloaded from the Google links. After that's done go back to the main screen for the iPod and click Apps on the left side to bring up the layouts of your folders and pages. There should be a section that has AE and then an update button next to it. Click the update button until you see the Sync and Apply buttons on the bottom of iTunes. Click apply and it should update the version of AE to the beta version.
