Great, glad the UI responsiveness seems to be fixed then. As for the greyed out ships, that has changed on purpose. I believe there was no real fun in having super powerful ships in early missions, it removes any challenge. You may also have noticed that your capital ships do not spawn either, at least not in levels where you're not supposed to have any yet. I'm probably going to do the same with the mothership turrets. - In short: Ships and turrets will only be usable, starting from the levels they were available for purchase in the first place. That makes sense since I remember everything being available from the mission after the training one. Lol. And also that behemoth ship is still unreachable for me even though I have a crap ton of money haha.

I could never afford a behemoth. I have a Aegeon and 2 cerberus and 2 hydras all max level except a hydra. as well as numerous small ships. Would all the plain ship and weapon sprites be able to be uploaded on here. I wanted to try make a mod for starsector if i can with your permission? I think the ships would look brilliant in it. and they could all have light shields.

just got a few suggestions but so far play is going well. 1)maybe add another speed modifier. 2)More slots at the bottom for quick finding and monitoring certain ships. 3)make the athena and titan special bought ships that might give your ships certain bonuses like leader ships or something. 4)An android version would be incredible if it's able to be ported because i would love to buy it for tablet and it could open up more tactical options too with having a bigger screen. 5)more mineable resources on deep space mining in the higher levels. it takes far too long to save up for a behemoth. I have been playing a long time and have full ships slots and 3million resource and am nowhere near what a behemoth costs. I would willingly sell a cerberus to have one of them. 6)also maybe a seperate set of upgrades for other ships. Theres a lot of space on the mothership upgrade page for this. Maybe upgrading turret damage. and more upgrades in general.
No complaints or anything so far though. only bug i think is the rotating turret bug

So work on the update has been going pretty well. Have isolated and fixed several issues and added a few new improvements. Changes made so far- A new mothership, the old one just didn't look like a typical EDF ship. - The interface has been simplified (cleaned up). Mothership fuel, energy and health have been removed completely from the main interface, resources are now shown at the top of the radar. - Radar background has been darkened for better visibility. - Restrictions on adding turrets to the mothership have been removed, however, you can no longer add advanced turrets in early missions (they are locked). When configuring the mothership's turrets, the game is paused. - Many new background textures. - New intro "video". - Aliens replaced by ships. - Improvements to story. Still in progress- Improved cut scenes after "The Offensive" and "Last Stand". - Additional improvements to story line. - Improved tutorials. Possible changes- Radio communication between ships (for richer atmosphere). There is probably more I can't remember right now. Attachments:

Is that green ship the "new" hydra or the new mothership? Looks like some great improvements!

Here is a slightly improved version of it (more details, better looking bridge). - During the last few days a lot of improvements to all the dialogs has been made. They will not look stretched out on pads and newer phones anymore. - Question: Garage always felt wrong, never knew why I chose that name to begin with. Should it be named "Shop", or (more original) "Space Dock"? Attachments:

OK, Space Dock it is. Will upload a new beta soon. just got a few suggestions but so far play is going well. I would willingly sell a cerberus to have one of them. 6)also maybe a seperate set of upgrades for other ships. Theres a lot of space on the mothership upgrade page for this. Maybe upgrading turret damage. and more upgrades in general. No complaints or anything so far though. only bug i think is the rotating turret bug Thanks for all the input Joe. 1) Higher speed modifier cause the game to be unstable. 2) Could be done, just didn't want to make it too crowded down there. 3) Those ships were really just made for the story, as is the Hercules. 4) That would be a massive amount of work unfortunately, but perhaps if the iOS version does a little better. 5) The Behemoth really requires you to take advantage of the Alien home world sector in Conquest Mode. You can make about $3M per run. Never wanted the player to unlock this ship without completing Conquest Mode, so it wouldn't take away the challenge. Well, this update is mainly intended for fixing bugs and general enhancements, not for new features. Just thought I'd throw in a few new extras as a bonus, but really want to get started with the prequel rather than spending too much time on AE. So if you find any bugs let me know. What seems to be the problem with turret rotation? Never understood this problem, it works like it should for me. Perhaps you have different expectations from it? Let me explain how it should behave: When you issue a rotate turret command, the ship will rotate the turrets to the specified direction (not location, i.e. if the ship moves the turrets will not track a particular location, but maintain their direction instead). Once a turret has completed rotating, it can receive new commands from the ship itself, e.g. an enemy vessel approaches and the turrets require rotation before they can fire. Also, turrets start to rotate before the target is in firing range by ~50%. Is this how they behave, or does something different happen?

Cant wait for the prequel. I'll definately buy it when its available. not sure what it is with turrets but on my ipod when i click rotate turrets it crashes instantly before they start to turn. how much work would a pc version be because i know windows games can run on windows 8 laptops and weren't sure if ios games can. clicking instead of screen taps.

Ah OK, you mean with the mothership, that has already been taken care of. So far I've only outlined the story for "First Contact". Once AE is done and released, work on FC will start. Realistically speaking, in around 2 weeks, but it really depends how smooth everything will go with AE.
