On an iPhone 6s, performance is smooth as silk. Rotate working fine, and no crashes yet.
Some things: 1. Why can the galaxy map in conquest mode be rotated? Doing so is cool, but the names stay in the same orientation, so it becomes hard to read. I think either disable rotation or make the names follow the orientation of the screen. 2. Speaking of screen orientation, I don't remember if it was this way in the past (haven't played in a while), but physically flipping the device does not flip the screen. 3. Alien Mothership AI still prioritises shooting at fighters instead of ships. 4. Disabling the FPS limiter limits the FPS and not the other way around (dunno what's up with this one). 4. Disabling the FPS limiter makes moving the view really fast and sensitive (not impossible to make fine movements, but it's hard), but not rotation.

Thanks for the great feedback. Lots of good info.
1 - Good find. Haven’t even thought about rotating the map as a possibility, haha. Will see if rotating the labels is uncomplicated enough, otherwise will probably fix it.
2 - Yep that’s a recent change. It makes dealing with iPhone X and above easier. Do you think this feature was very useful?
3 - will look into that.
4 - The FPS limiter should probably be dropped entirely. Devices that would benefit from it are probably not capable of running iOS 8 anyway.
Thanks again, was really helpful!
Update 1: "Fixes"
1 - Labels now rotate with the map.
4 - FPS limiter option removed.
Update 2: "Additional fixes made"
- Tapping strategic map made camera move to wrong position.
- Conquest mode intro images were incorrectly scaled.
- Dust particles disappearing when moving camera around.
- Distant asteroids disappearing when moving camera around.

The screen flip thing is more of just a QoL thing. Personally I like holding my phone with the home button to the right, which is why I noticed the lack of flip to begin with. But it's not really a big deal.

Ok, understood. It's just that the screen design of newer iPhones makes it difficult to have generic UI layout solution. In the other orientation the "mic and camera bar thingy" would kinda push the special power timers that are on the left further into the screen. Perhaps I should allow rotation on devices with a rectangular display.
Update:
- Reintroduced screen rotation on iPhones with rectangular displays.

Can't remember if this is a bug or not but:
Repair turrets and WeldMasters not automatically repairing damaged ships (tested in Campaign, Survival and Sandbox).
Can confirm that I had sufficient credits and energy.
Oh yes also I have to say that I greatly appreciate how you go out of your way to address all the feedback and make changes based on feedback. It's a nice change from some other devs who would just file issues under "to do later" and never fix it, or just say "won't fix".

Again, a good find. Indeed, there's a repair turret bug and it has been there since the beginning actually. It's fixed now, seven years later. Thanks, for the compliment. Much appreciated! To be fair though, there isn't too much activity here, so it's easier to read through all the posts. I remember once there were around a dozen of feature requests coming in all within a few weeks, a couple of years ago or so. Felt overwhelmed to say the least. However, I believe that bugs should always be addressed and developers should actually appreciate the time people take to submit them, not vice versa.

Ok, great! Have fixed everything (except for the mothership bug) and trimmed down the size of the game a bit, by removing old low res textures. Will upload a new build within the next few hours.

On an unrelated matter, work on Highway Smash is going really, really well and I can't wait to release a first beta. Will take some time though. It's actually a pretty big game and there's still plenty of loose ends that need to be tied up.

Oops, major bug found. The CM sector buttons don’t work at all. Fixed it and will post an update ASAP.
