The latest beta has been approved and is available for testing. Let me know what you think about the most recent changes. PS: Switched out the current fog texture to something that looks like actual fog rather than clouds. Makes it even less distracting. Unfortunately it's not included in the current beta.

Just got 3.2.2. Got a few notable things to report Bugs: 1- The Alien Mothership AI still prioritizes fighters over anything else. 2- There is a strange static-like sound effect when placing any object in sandbox mode. (Pretty minor though). 3-When you long press anywhere on the screen on either ship or strategic mode, the menu UI never pops up to where you want it, instead the menu appears to the right side of the screen. 4-Whenever an Aegeon is destroyed (player owned, Player controlled, or other) the game will crash. 5- I'm unsure if this was part of the fog change, but the fog doesn't move anymore. It IS less distracting however. Changes feedback: A- Ill be honest, I'm not too sure If I'm a fan of the new intro music. It just doesn't feel that appropriate for the setting of the game, as well as compared to the rest of the soundtrack. B- I do enjoy the new trail effects that the Alien star guns leave behind. Nothing else to report as of now

A - I agree, changed it back. How are all the menus now?

Havent played for long but only found 3 bugs. 1: The menu sound when clicking on anything doesn't play the little sound effect anymore (works in missions and sub menus). 2: The bottom 15% of the screen when in a mission is unresponsive when pulling up the menu, moving a ship, attacking etc. 3: once during a mission, the motherships weapons stopped firing, I went to go change them and the weapons de-equipped on their own, the "weapons" option disappeared entirely for the rest of the mission. It happened in the middle of "the offensive" See image: ibb.co/c5Vcufalso was the menu music emoted entirely? Because it is completely gone and I can only hear the ambient sound effects. BTW thanks for changing the menus, it is significantly easier to see.

Thanks for the feedback. 1 - Has actually always been like this. Sound effects are disabled in the intro and that includes button clicks unfortunately. 2 - Confirmed and fixed. You'll find that this happens in the area where normally the shortcut buttons are. 3 - I'm pretty sure here is what happened: You have the special projectile shooting ship, which requires a lot of energy from the mothership. Judging by the energy lights on the mothership it was nearly completely drained of energy, which would explain why it stopped firing. The weapons button was disabled because the turret configuration was changed and saved. As you can see in the image, the "weapons" timer is still counting down for re-enabling. You may have accidentally saved the layout without adding any turrets (i.e. tapped "accept" by accident). Let me know if it happens again though. Well I thought having just this ambient sound for the main menu would be appropriate. There's also a bug that won't reset the background sound, once you exit from a mission to the main menu. Fixed that as well. Glad the UI is more convenient now. I'll wait for some time before submitting the next beta. Perhaps there's something else that needs to be fixed. EDIT: Submitted v3.2.22 for testing. Fixes everything discussed here and adds a couple of ship shortcuts.

1. Tiny issue with the description for the alien Heavy Destroyer, it says that they mount the most powerful alien weapon when they're using medium guns. 2. Is pressing Next after completing DSM supposed to put the player into a new instance of DSM? I can't remember if this was in the previous versions, but maybe rename Next to Again or Repeat? 3. Are we supposed to be able to open up the ability wheel while in strategic view? It can sometimes result in odd behaviour, like if you open strategic view, tap anywhere except Exit to exit strategic view, then use an ability, the ability will trigger then the view will shift to where you tapped to exit strategic view. Sorry about not posting much, it's exam time for me, and three3pryme is posting stuff faster than I can (good job)

Sorry about not posting much, it's exam time for me, and three3pryme is posting stuff faster than I can (good job) Haha, it's all good. As for issue number 3: Oh lord I feel so silly now! I didn't even notice that. I'm so used to changing the turret config. Once per mission and dont been notice it half the time. Heck I didn't even know that the experimental ship takes up energy from the mothership. Whoops! i did come across a strange bug where at one point in a conquest attack mission, some of the icons disappeared, and the icon next to the mission dialogue was missing. pasteboard.co/HNxlM77.pngAlso, after that point I couldn't use some of My ship's abilities anymore such as the Daedalus powers, Hydra fighter command, and Cerberus shield. But I could still use Missile swarm, nuke, and Ion cannon in respective ships. pasteboard.co/HNxmwp6.pngpasteboard.co/HNxmNrS.pngThis has only happened once, don't know how it happened, and I can't seem to replicate it. Ive got nothing else to report so far.

Sorry about not posting much, it's exam time for me, and three3pryme is posting stuff faster than I can (good job) As usual, thanks for all the info. It's great that you guys support this game so much. You have already pointed out like a dozen or so bugs, over the last couple of weeks. And don't worry about not posting right away, totally understand that you have obligations and responsibilities in your personal life. I've disappeared from this forum and the game for very long periods myself. Regarding bugs: 1. Haha, very true. Will change it to "This version is equipped with rapid firing turrets." 2. Yep, that's how it always behaved, but you are right, "repeat" would make a lot more sense. It's just how the game is designed. The end mission dialog always has a "next" option, which usually points to the next mission object. In the case of DSM it points to itself haha. 3. Nope shouldn't of course. Will have to fix that. That is very, very odd and to me it looks like a memory issue, especially if the game was put into background mode for a while. If this was the case, the OS may have decided to release parts of the game memory that contained these specific textures. If this is an isolated incident, I think we should probably ignore it, since tracing the root of this issue would probably be very difficult.

v3.2.23 has been submitted. It includes all the fixes discussed here.
- The strategic map now shows the currently selected ship in a different color.
- Long-pressing an empty spot with two fingers resets the camera orientation.

Onto 3.2.23! So far I haven't found anything new per se. But that other glitch mentioned earlier happened again. I couldn't use ship abilities and some the icons disappeared, however this time the glitch was more severe (it happened at the beginning of the mission, and ALL ability icons were gone this time around) The glitch happened on the fourth time I played a conquest mission (since I started up the game) so the glitch may have to do with how long you play, or if the game was left in background mode for a while. pasteboard.co/HOqzZVg.pngThe Alien Mothership AI still prioritizes fighters over anything. (Sorry if I'm bothering you with this one ) UPDATE: loading up DSM crashed my game as soon as the mission started, but it has only happened once and DSM is working fine as of now. Probably should ignore but I will report back if it happens again.

If this happens even when the game is in the foreground the entire time, it might be worth investigating. From what I understand however, it was in background mode for a while, right? Good thing is that it seems to happen right at the start, so you can still restart the game without losing much progress. Haha, that mothership glitch has been there forever. I will get it fixed eventually though. Regarding the DSM crash, haven't received any crash logs yet, this might take a couple of days. Thanks for reporting!
