Alright got some not so good news... While playing "Last Stand" I realized that my iPhone 4 took quiet a performance hit. With all the added background animation & effects and the new fighter drones, there's quiet a lot going on. The iPhone 4S+ and iPad 2+ on the other hand, should be quiet capable to cope with the new situation. Maybe in the future there can be a setting, that allows the player to change the level of detail. For now, iPhone 4 (no S) owners should be prepared for a little extra lag in that mission. Don't worry though, the game is fully responsive, only the frame rate drops occasionally.

A final step that should be taken, before the app is submitted, is a UI clean up. I have already arranged for the coordinates to be only displayed when the camera is moved. Some other UI elements just seem totally unnecessary, for example: Who needs the score? What about the mothership status bars: health, energy & fuel, do we really need all these? Let me know what you think.

Co-ordinates are helpful for moving to stuff like the location of other ships. Such as the hidden ship. Dont need score. Need resources. Maybe have score pop up under a smaller button. Or have a smaller button which when tapped displays the mothership information, fuel, energy and health.

Health, energy and fuel are needed. Resources too. Score is unneccesary. Coordinates are useful, especially since in a few missions you are asked to move to certain coordinates or are told something is at certain coordinates.

Maybe the mother ship info should show in the garage. If you really need to know the health you can always hot key it.

I agree with lockon777, you really don't need a dedicated health monitor for the mothership, but if you still want one, then you can hotkey it. The fuel level on the other hand seems necessary, since there is no other way to know about it. The energy level seems totally irrelevant, right? I mean it won't have any impact on your decisions!?

Ok, you know what? Let's decide over this matter in the next update. We really don't want to delay this update any further.
