This is my initial fleet pic. I'm still in the process of building up my fleet more seeing as how I'm currently on the last mission.

Haha nice. i was going to do the same thing. Just rock 2 of each, Hydra and Cerberus instead of trying to save for the Aegeon and then get 2 ore masters. But mining after beating the later levels becomes a pain.

Here is my newest fleet formation. One more cerberus and hydra and a couple more smaller support ships. In the middle of Last Stand as well.

yea I usually like to put the smaller support ships in front to keep up some slack from the capital ships getting hit and dealing out some huge damage before they start taking fire and if the smaller ships lose their turrets i just dock them up and keep goin

My current fleet and my usual formation. Full plasma and 2 Hydras FTW!
There's also a WeldMaster hidden behind the Mothership.
I have an OreMaster as well but it's not shown.

Nice. No Cerberus'? The Hydras are great but the fighters are weak HP wise.
Yea I've got 2 weldmasters flanking the mothership. I'm thinking about going 4 frontal lasers with 2 missiles on the back for the mothership. Seeing as how we have the ability to have all energy needing systems equipped now lol.

I prefer Hydras because they give me 2000 DPS each. With my 2 Hydras, support ships and the mothership I could theoretically have a DPS of 5250. If I replaced a Hydra with a Cerberus I would only have a theoretical DPS of 3990. More DPS = faster kills = good. Also, I like the fighters because they distract the enemies.

Updated again. Got rid of my 2 Cerberus to get the Aegeaon but that thing is just too cumbersome to keep up with my normal mid mothership formation so I switched to all 4 Hydra.
Ultimate distraction and mass fighter pwnage lol.

Wow, I've never tried this combination. 32 fighters seem like overkill. Hm, the Aegaeon needs to be improved, mainly in maneuverability as it seems. Someone who spends 1.000.000 credits, expects something awesome in return. I think what it needs are some unique turrets, some which you can only get with the Aegaeon! What do you think?

could have a large main weapon or something that is only forward facing. and a couple of laser turrets to intercept the purple things.

How about giving it a nuke? Or something similar? Like a missile that has long reload, does more damage than a normal missile but less than a nuke. Or maybe give it artillery? Or an Ion Cannon. (I like ion cannons ) It could fire a white particle beam that has a long range and deals high damage. Medium reload. Kinda like a sniper.
