Also, a guide to installing the beta:
1. Connect your device to your computer. 2. Open iTunes. 3. OPTIONAL: Make a backup by going to File > Device > Back Up. 4. Go to File > Add File to Library > The two files you downloaded (there should be 2 different files, one app file and one provisioning file). 5. When it asks if you want to overwrite, hit yes. 6. Sync your device.

I downloaded both files. I noticed when i tried to install both to the Itunes apps it was trying to overwrite each other. i Thought The Dev made a typo when he said tywo files. I thought I had erased all my data and had backed up the wrong file. If it wasnt for the Dev I wouldnt have realized I had two back up files so i have all my old stuff so yay..

Intro still works, Cargomasters and their escort survived, albeit on fire, and are now hanging out in the bottom left corner of my screen. Further updates to come.

Lol @ the new miner animation. It looks like the miner is punching it and making it explode XD
Also, some feedbak on the new health/energy bars. They are...confusing. The energy bar drains to the right instead of to the left, and ships that don't use energy have a grey box there instead. It's ugly. Also, why orange for the "drained" colour @.@

I've been using the new arrangement for the health and energy bar for quite some time now and actually found it far better than the old one, however I'm open to suggestions: - The energy bar could be drained to the left, if that is any better. - What do you suggest should be done in case of a ship not using energy? - What color should be used for the drained part? Note that red is not an option, since health < 25% is actually red itself.

so my computer is finally working, i did the steps to do it on my device. Im not doing it on my iphone 5 because i havent set up itunes yet and dont want to go through the headache of it. But i played the game, intro video looks pretty un-natural if you ask my probably cause of the AI. One cargo-master died. I also agree with Clinkzbone abou the new health bar, if they could be changed a little, thatd be fine. I havent played any levels yet since i didnt have much time, i checked out the main menu, and space dock. The new UI looks pretty good so far! Ill let you know if anything else happens (if i have time)

Why not transparent, like it was previously? It's hard to tell whether the bar is full or not, if you don't have any contrasting color. It might not be that important for health, but for energy this is really very useful. Also: how about just displaying a full energy bar, when a ship doesn't use energy?

 Umm...whoops? Also, full energy bar sounds fine. DSM is substantially harder now during the early game. Just went in with 2 laser centaurs and basic upgrades and barely survived (made a 10k loss too) Granted I was on max difficulty though, will try on lowest difficulty and see what it's like.

DSM on easy is much easier. Decent difficulty for a beginner.
Bug(?): Whenever you launch/dock a fighter, the yellow selection thing appears at (0,0).
Would it be possible to increase the size of all the EDF turrets? With the new textures, ships look much bulkier, so the turrets look tiny in comparison. Also, with all the colour on the ships now, it's much harder to differentiate between the different turrets at a glance, especially Plasma and Healing because they have the same shape (assuming you can make out the shape, which is not always).

I could also scale them up slightly and see if they will still look good, or perhaps add stronger drop shadows.
